CXLB73187 is a 3A Li-ion battery charger for 5V AC adapter. It is a synchronous step-down converter with a fixed frequency of 800KHz, so it has a charging efficiency of more than 92% and generates very little heat.
The CXLB73187 includes a complete charging termination circuit, automatic recharging and a 4.35V preset charging voltage with an accuracy of ± 1%. It integrates multiple functions such as anti-flooding protection, output short circuit protection, chip and battery temperature protection.
The CXLB73187 is in a heatsink SOP8 package and requires minimal peripheral components, so it can be embedded in a variety of handheld applications as an efficient charger for high-capacity batteries
