CXLB73189 is a 2.5A Li-ion battery charger with wide voltage input adapter. It is a synchronous step-down converter with a fixed frequency of 550kHz, so it has a charging efficiency of more than 90% and generates very little heat. The CXLB73189 integrates a 28V high-voltage device, which can effectively prevent chip damage caused by surge voltage or misconnected high-voltage adapter, and has extremely high safety. The CXLB73189 includes a complete charging termination circuit, automatic recharging and a 4.2V preset charging voltage with an accuracy of ± 1%. It integrates multiple functions such as anti-flooding protection, output short circuit protection, chip and battery temperature protection. The CXLB73189 uses a miniaturized DFN3x3-10L package, and requires very few peripheral components, only a very small area of the PCB board, so it can be embedded in a variety of handheld applications, as a high-efficiency charger for large-capacity batteries.
