CXLB73197 is a 2A Li-Ion battery charger for 5V AC adapter. It is a synchronous step-down converter with a fixed frequency of 1.5MHz, so it has a charging efficiency of more than 90% and generates very little heat.
The CXLB73197 includes a complete charging termination circuit, automatic recharging and a 4.2V preset charging voltage with an accuracy of ± 1%. It integrates multiple functions such as anti-flooding protection, output short circuit protection, chip and battery temperature protection.
The CXLB73197 is in a heat-sink DFN8 package and requires very few peripheral components, so it can be embedded in a variety of handheld applications as an efficient charger for high-capacity batteries.
