CXAR41299 is a mono smart audio power amplifier with built-in adaptive boost/AGC/temperature limit. When boosted to 7.85V by lithium battery power supply, 7W power (1% THD + N) can be continuously output under 4Ω load condition.
CXAR41299 built-in adaptive boost can provide 5.45V, 6.45V, 7.45V, 7.85V four output voltage options to meet different output power requirements. In addition, the boost also has an adaptive function, small music signal does not boost, can greatly improve the system efficiency, extend battery life.
Rich automatic gain control (AGC) features are built into the CXAR41299, including limiting (Limiter) and battery tracking (Battery Tracking). After the limiter function is turned on, even if the input signal is very large, the music output can be limited within the specified power and THD + N; After the battery tracking function is turned on, when the battery voltage is lower than the set value, the CXAR41299 can gradually reduce the gain as the battery voltage decreases to limit the battery current, which can greatly extend the battery life and prevent sound breaking and excessive current demand, reduce the risk of the battery entering the locked state early when the battery is low.
The CXAR41299 also has an automatic temperature limit control (TFB) function. When the temperature in the chip is high under the conditions of high power output and high ambient temperature, the chip can automatically reduce the system gain to prevent the chip from entering the over-temperature shutdown protection mode. Under the premise of ensuring music quality, the peak power of music is significantly improved.
The CXAR41299 can be freely switched in multiple modes to meet more system application requirements: Boost + Class D, Boost + Class AB, Class D alone, and Class AB alone.
CXAR41299 support hardware control mode and I2C control mode. In the I2C control mode, a wealth of functions and parameter configurations are provided.
In addition, the CXAR41299's internal integrated filter-free modulation technology can directly drive the speaker. The built-in shutdown function minimizes the standby current. It also integrates functions such as output over-current protection, on-chip over-temperature protection and power supply under-voltage abnormal protection.
