CXSD62645 is a 1A, high efficiency, step-down, switching converter. When the load current drops into the uA range, the quiescent current of the nanoampere level provides extremely high efficiency. With a minimum input voltage as low as 2V, the CXSD62645 allows the system to be powered directly from the battery. The COT control scheme provides fast transient response, high light load efficiency and smaller capacitance requirements. By correcting the output voltage by an integrated error amplifier, the regulation can be made compact. Fault protection features including under-voltage protection (UVLO), over-current protection (OCP) and thermal shutdown CXSD62645 require only a few readily available standard peripheral components to work.
