CXLE8949 CXLE8950 is a controller for driving external NMOSFET to remove the 100/120Hz LED current tEd嘉泰姆

ripple on AC/DC power by a capacitor between removing LED  VC and GND.The adaptive technology of CXLE8950 ensures current ripple.tEd嘉泰姆

         CXLE8949 CXLE8950 clamps the input voltage on VIN pin by 30V. Only one resistor is needed when the output voltage of AC/DC power is higher than 31V.tEd嘉泰姆

      CXLE8949 CXLE8950 allows user to setup maximum LED current by the sensing resistor between thetEd嘉泰姆

source of NMOSFET and ground, which protects NMOSFET from being damaged when LED shorttEd嘉泰姆

connected or hot-plug.By sensing the drain voltage of NMOSFET via a resistor between the drain and VLMT  pin,tEd嘉泰姆

     CXLE8949 CXLE8950 allows user to setup the maximum cathode voltage of LED string, which could helptEd嘉泰姆

limit the power dissipation on chip.It is considered that LED is shorted  when the cathode voltage of LED istEd嘉泰姆

 higher than short connecting threshold and remains over 60us CXLE8950 shuts down NMOSFET whentEd嘉泰姆

 LED is shorted and recovers after 13ms.tEd嘉泰姆

       CXLE8949 CXLE8950 provides over thermal protection. When the temperature of CXLE8950 exceed 135 , OTP is trigged. CXLE8950 shuts down NMOSFET until the temperature decrease to 110tEd嘉泰姆
