CXDC61072 is a switching type PWM step-down DC-DC control integrated circuit, with a wide input voltage range, the use of external components, continuous output current up to 5A, with good load modulation response and input voltage modulation response.
The CXDC61072 output voltage is fixed at 5V, the switching frequency is 550KHz, and a small inductor can be used. The output terminal uses ceramic filter capacitor, and the CXDC61072 can work stably in the whole working voltage range.
In order to ensure a relatively high conversion efficiency, it is CXDC61072 to use the PFM mode of operation under light load conditions. The CXDC61072's low operating current and 100 percent duty cycle operation at low dropout makes the CXDC61072 ideal for battery-powered systems.
Abnormal condition protection includes inductor current limit per cycle, output short circuit protection and output voltage overvoltage protection. In shutdown mode, the CXDC61072 enters a low-power shutdown mode, consuming only 7.5uA of current. The soft-start circuit is integrated inside the CXDC61072, which can reduce the surge current and suppress the output overshoot voltage at the moment of power-on.
