CXFA3196 is an integrated power management IC for mobile small fans, which integrates lithium battery charging management, three gear outputs and status LED indications.
The CXFA3196 is charged in a linear manner, which integrates the charging methods including trickle charging, constant current charging and constant voltage charging. The floating voltage accuracy can reach 1% in the whole temperature range, and has the advantages of small charging current ripple and high charging efficiency.
CXFA3196 direct pulse square wave output drives the fan.
The CXFA3196 is equipped with 2 LED drive ports. The key port can drive the LED at the same time as the status light indication of the fan on, and the LEDR drives the LED indication of the charging status.
The CXFA3196 has multiple protection design, including load overcurrent protection, soft start protection, input overvoltage protection, output short circuit protection, chip temperature protection, etc. At the same time, the chip port is designed with high-performance ESD protection circuit, which makes the chip have extremely high reliability.
CXFA3196 currently offer SOT23-6 packages.
