CXLB74181 is a three-in-one control chip that provides high-efficiency, low-cost, and small-volume solutions for dry batteries. It integrates lithium battery linear charging, high-efficiency DC/DC discharge and lithium battery protection functions. With trickle, constant current, constant voltage and recharge charging cycle process, constant current charging current size can be set by the peripheral setting resistance. The discharge output voltage is 1.5V constant voltage output, which will not drop as the battery voltage drops. The maximum output current is greater than 2A and the quiescent current is only 13 µA. Under the normal working range, high efficiency and continuous output can be guaranteed, up to more than 91%. When the battery voltage is discharged to the undervoltage protection voltage, the CXLB74181 will enter the protection state of zero shutdown power consumption, that is, the lithium battery protection mode with a static current of 0, which can be activated after undervoltage charging. At the same time, the CXLB74181 integrates over-current protection, over-voltage protection, over-temperature protection, battery over-discharge protection, under-voltage lockout and other functions.
