Cxlb7281 is a high-precision linear charging circuit specially designed for two lithium batteries, which is very suitable for those low-cost and portable chargers. It can be widely used in PDA, mid, mobile devices and other fields.
Cxlb7281 determines its charging state by detecting the battery voltage: pre charging, constant current charging, constant voltage charging. When the battery voltage is less than the threshold voltage Vo (min), it is in the precharge state, and the current to the battery is small
For charging, the current of precharge can be adjusted through external resistance. After the pre charging makes the battery voltage reach VO (min), it enters the fast charging state of constant current charging, and the charging current can be adjusted through the peripheral resistance. After constant current charging makes the battery voltage rise to the full voltage Vo (reg) (8.4v in general), it enters into the constant voltage charging state. In this state, the charging current will gradually decrease until the stat port level changes from high, indicating the end of charging. After charging, the battery voltage will always be monitored. When the battery voltage is less than the threshold VO (RCH), the battery will be recharged and enter the next charging cycle. For the sake of safety, in the whole charging process, cxlb7281 can use the thermistor inside the battery and the appropriate peripheral resistance to monitor the temperature of the battery, so that the temperature of the battery can be controlled within the range set by the user.

         CXLB7281是一款专门为双节锂电池而设计的高精度线性充电电路,非常适合

那些低成本、便携式充电器使用。它集高精度预充电、恒定电流充电、恒定电压充

电、电池状态检测、温度监控、充电结束防泄漏、充电状态指示等功能于一身,可

以广泛使用于PDA、MID、移动设备等领域。Qru嘉泰姆
         CXLB7281 通过检测电池电压来决定其充电状态:预充电、恒流充电、恒压充

电。当电池电压小于阈值电压 VO(MIN)时,处于预充电状态,以较小的电流对电池

进行充电,预充电的电流可以通过外部电阻进行调整。预充电使电池电压达到 VO

(MIN) 后,进入恒定电流充电的快速充电状态,充电电流可以通过外围电阻调整。

恒定电流充电使电池电压上升到充饱电压 VO(REG)(一般为 8.4V)后,进入恒定

电压充电状态,在该状态下,充电电流将逐渐减小,直至 STAT 端口电平由高变,

表示充电结束。充电结束后,将始终对电池电压进行监控,当电池电压小于阈值

 VO(RCH)时,对电池进行再充电,进入下一个充电周期。Qru嘉泰姆
     为了安全起见,在整个充电过程中,CXLB7281可利用电池内部的热敏电阻和

适当的外围电阻对电池的温度进行监控,可以使电池的温度控制在用户设置的范

围内。

引脚名称 引脚功能
VDD 电源端。
TS 温度监控输入端。当该引脚接地或处于 VTS1 与 VTS2 之间时,可正常工作;否则,将视为电池温度超出设置范围而进入关闭保护状态。
STAT 充电状态指示。在充电过程中,该引脚被上拉到高电平;充电结束后,被下拉到低电平;电池不正常或 TS 温度超过设置的范围时,输出为高阻态。
GND 接地端。
CC 调整管驱动端。与外部调整管的基极(PNP 晶体管)或栅极(PMOS 管)相连。
TS_EN 温度保护使能控制。
CS 电流采样输入。充电电流通过电源和此引脚之间的电压差决定。
BATT 电池电压检测输入端。
