CXLB73263 the PWM step-down mode three-cell charging management integrated circuit powered by solar panels can be used to independently manage the charging of three batteries. It has the advantages of small packaging shape, few peripheral components and simple use. CXLB73263 has trickle, constant current and constant voltage charging modes, which is very suitable for charging management of three lithium batteries. Constant voltage charging voltage is set by CXLB73263 internal feedback resistor; In constant current charging mode, charging current is set by an external resistor. When the solar panel is used for power supply, the internal circuit can automatically track the maximum power point of the solar panel. Users do not need to consider the worst case, and can make maximum use of the output power of the solar panel, it is very suitable for applications powered by solar panels. For lithium batteries with deep discharge, when the battery voltage is lower than (typical value) of the constant voltage charging voltage, CXLB 73263 uses 25% of the set constant current charging current to trickle charge the battery. In the constant voltage charging stage, the charging current gradually decreases. When the charging current decreases to 15% of the constant current charging current, the charging ends. In the end-of-charge state, if the battery voltage drops below of the constant voltage charging voltage, a new charging cycle is automatically started. When the input power is powered down or the input voltage is lower than the battery voltage, the CXLB73263 automatically enters the sleep mode. Other functions include battery temperature monitoring in accordance with JEITA standard, input low voltage latching, battery terminal overvoltage protection and status indication, etc. CXLB73263 is packaged in 10-pin SSOP (eSSOP-10) with enhanced heat dissipation.
