CXLE86221 is a constant current output integrated circuit that operates between 4V and 32V, capable of providing up to 1 ampere of current to one or more high brightness LEDs. CXLE86221 sets the LED current through a current sensing resistor connected in series with the LED. The dimming control input pin and the 130Hz PWM signal generation circuit inside the chip allow for the use of analog and PWM signals for dimming, and analog signal dimming can achieve a theater dimming effect. CXLE86221 integrates high-voltage MOS transistors internally, reducing the number of external components and achieving LED current accuracy of 5%. It is very suitable for applications where high input voltage drives high brightness LED light emission. The EQ pin of CXLE86221 can play a role in current balancing when multiple CXLE86221s are used in parallel. Other functions include 5V regulated output and thermal modulation. CXLE86221 adopts an 8-pin eSOP package with enhanced heat dissipation capability.
