    CXSD61022A is a wide input voltage, high efficiency CC step-down DC/DC converter that operates in either CV (Constant Output Voltage) mode or CC (Constant Output Current) mode. CXSD61022A provides up to 2.5A output current at 125kHz switching frequency.oKX嘉泰姆
      CXSD61022A provides OVP pin for output over voltage protection.Protection features include cycle-by-cycle current limit,thermal shutdown, and frequency foldback at short circuit. The devices are available in a SOP-8EP package and require very few external devices for operation.oKX嘉泰姆

As seen in Functional Block Diagram, the CXSD61022A isoKX嘉泰姆
a Constant On Time (COT) mode pulse widthoKX嘉泰姆
modulation (PWM) converter with CC and CV control.oKX嘉泰姆
The converter operates as follows:oKX嘉泰姆
The main loop of CXSD61022A uses a COT mode controloKX嘉泰姆
which provides a very fast transient response with nooKX嘉泰姆
external component and no need loop compensation.oKX嘉泰姆
The CXSD61022A also adopt a proprietary circuit thatoKX嘉泰姆
ensures enable use very low ESR capacitor to maintainoKX嘉泰姆
loop stability.oKX嘉泰姆
turns on. The high side MOSFET is turn off afteroKX嘉泰姆
internal one shot timer expires. This one shot time isoKX嘉泰姆
set by VIN and VOUT to maintain a constant frequency.oKX嘉泰姆
The one shot timer is reset and high side MOSFEToKX嘉泰姆
turns on again when feedback voltage falls below theoKX嘉泰姆
reference voltage. An internal ramp is generating tooKX嘉泰姆
simulate output ripple, eliminating the need for ESRoKX嘉泰姆
induced output ripple from COT control mode. WhenoKX嘉泰姆
high side MOSFET turns off, the SW node of theoKX嘉泰姆
inductor swings to a diode voltage below ground,oKX嘉泰姆
causing the inductor current to decrease and magneticoKX嘉泰姆
energy to be transferred to output. This state continuesoKX嘉泰姆
until the next cycle start againoKX嘉泰姆
