CXLB74204 is a fully integrated mobile power dedicated very large scale integrated circuit, designed for medium and high power mobile power. Internal automatic charging management and battery isolation PMOS2, boost management, power display, battery protection and other functions are integrated into a single chip, plus an input isolation PMOS1, a power NMOS1, an inductor, a small number of resistance-capacitance components, simple application circuit, stable and reliable performance, no debugging of large-scale production, high efficiency and high yield. The CXLB74204 adopts a unique single inductor multiplexing technology, with built-in high-efficiency synchronous buck 4.2V3A lithium battery charging circuit and synchronous boost 5V 3A output circuit. The 4-channel LED display output can display the power during charging and discharging in 5 sections, which can be applied to direct driving of red, green and blue LEDs and also used for abnormal state alarm display. No external battery protection circuit is required, the internal integrated battery has multiple input and output protections (overvoltage, overcharge, undervoltage, overcurrent, short circuit, etc.); The CXLB74204 provides function settings: plug-in automatic charging, key boost, light load automatic shutdown (when boosting); The constant current for buck charging is adjustable; 5V boost output constant current is externally adjustable. Its QFN24 ultra-small package with simple peripheral circuitry makes the CXLB74204 also ideal for high-power stand-alone charging or stand-alone boost management applications in other portable devices. The CXLB74204 has a wide input voltage (4.2-7V MAX) and prevents reverse connection of the power supply. During charging, the battery is charged in three stages: trickle pre-charging, constant current and constant voltage. The trickle pre-charging current and constant current charging current are adjusted by external resistors, and the maximum charging current reaches 3.5A. 4LED different display modes when charging different battery voltages. The switching mode of charging switching frequency 700KHz makes it possible to use smaller peripheral devices and still maintain a small calorific value in large current charging. CXLB74204 built-in anti-battery backflow PMOS2 circuit, there is no need for anti-backflow Schottky diode and other peripheral protection. CXLB74204 synchronous boost circuit can be constant voltage current limiting output, the voltage internal fixed 5V, the current can reach 3A. The current limit value can be adjusted by an external setting (VIlmt) to limit the output current at the battery terminal, thereby controlling the VIO output power. There is soft start protection when the boost is started, and there is output short circuit and overcurrent protection (250mS long overcurrent/short circuit shutdown).
