CXLB73240 is a single lithium titanate battery charging management chip that can be powered by solar energy. The device includes a power transistor inside, which does not require external current detection resistor and blocking diode. The internal charging current adaptive module can automatically adjust the charging current according to the current output capability of the input power supply. Users do not need to consider the worst case, and can make maximum use of the current output capability of the input power supply, it is very suitable for lithium battery charging applications powered by power sources with limited current output capacity such as solar panels. CXLB73240 requires only a few peripheral components, which is very suitable for portable applications. The thermal modulation circuit can control the chip temperature to about 132℃ when the power consumption of the device is relatively large or the ambient temperature is relatively high to avoid the chip temperature being too high. The internal fixed constant voltage charging voltage is 2.7V, which can also be adjusted upward by an external resistor. The charging current is set by an external resistor. When the input voltage is powered down, CXLB73240 automatically enters the sleep mode with low power consumption, and the battery current is less than 3 microampere. Other functions include low input voltage latching, automatic recharging,
Battery temperature monitoring, charging current overcurrent protection, charging status/end of charge status indication and other functions conforming to JEITA standard. CXLB73240 is encapsulated with enhanced heat dissipation 8-pin SOP (eSOP8).
