The cxlb7360 is a chip that can charge a variety of batteries. It can charge a single lithium battery, a single lithium iron phosphate battery or two to four NiMH batteries. The inner part of the device includes a power transistor, and no external current detection resistor and resistance diode are needed in application. Cxlb7360 only needs a few peripheral components, and conforms to the USB bus technical specifications, which is very suitable for portable products. The thermal modulation circuit can control the chip temperature in a safe range when the power consumption of the device is large or the ambient temperature is high. A high-precision voltage comparator is integrated in the chip, with an accuracy of 1%, which can accurately set the constant current charging termination voltage. The internal 8-bit analog-to-digital conversion circuit can automatically adjust the charging current according to the current output capacity of the input voltage source. The user does not need to consider the worst case, and can maximize the current output capacity of the input voltage source, which is very suitable for the battery charging application powered by the voltage source with limited current output capacity such as solar panel. The cxlb7360 charging current can be set through an external resistor. When the input voltage is powered off, the cxlb7360 automatically enters the sleep mode of low power consumption, and the current consumption of the battery is less than 3 microamps.
