Cxlb7276 is a circuit specially designed for high precision linear lithium battery chargers, which is very suitable for those low-cost, portable chargers. It can be widely used in EPC, mobile multimedia, handheld devices and other fields.
Cxlb7276 determines its charging state by detecting the battery voltage: pre charging, constant current charging, constant voltage charging. When the battery voltage is less than the threshold voltage Vmin (generally 6V), it is in the state of precharge. The battery is charged with a small current. The current of precharge can be adjusted by external resistance. After the pre charging makes the battery voltage reach Vmin, it enters the fast charging state of constant current charging. The charging current ireg can be adjusted by the peripheral resistance R1. The constant current charging makes the battery voltage rise to the constant voltage charging voltage vreg (generally 8.4v). Then enter the state of constant voltage charging, the accuracy of charging voltage is better than ?1%, in this state, the charging current will gradually reduce, when the charging current is less than the threshold iterm, the charging is over. After charging, the battery voltage will always be monitored. When the battery voltage is less than the threshold vrechg (generally vreg-250mv), the battery will be recharged to enter the next charging cycle.

CXLB7276通过检测电池电压来决定其充 电状态:预充电、恒流充电、恒压充电。当电池电 压小于阈值电压 VMIN(一般为 6V)时,处于预充 电状态,以较小的电流对电池进行充电,预充电的 电流可以通过外部电阻进行调整。预充电使电池电 压达到 VMIN 后,进入恒定电流充电的快速充电状 态,充电电流 IREG可以通过外围电阻 R1 调整,恒 定电流充电使电池电压上升到恒定电压充电电压 VREG(一般为 8.4V)。然后进入恒定电压充电状态, 充电电压的精度优于±1%,在该状态下,充电电 流将逐渐减小,当充电电流小于阈值 ITERM,充电 结束。充电结束后,将始终对电池电压进行监控, 当电池电压小于阈值 VRECHG(一般为 VREG- 250mV)时,对电池进行再充电,进入下一个充 电周期。
CXLB7276还可以通过调节外围电阻来提 高充电电压,从而有效地缩短充电时间。
