CXLE86229 is a fixed frequency current mode PWM controller for boost High Brightness LED driver. CXLE86229 the input voltage range is 4.5V to 32V, driving the external N-channel field effect transistor (MOSFETs), and the LED current is set through the external current detection resistor. CXLE 86229 is internally integrated with reference voltage source unit, error amplifier, 330kHz oscillator, slope compensation generator, current mode PWM control unit, inductance overcurrent protection circuit, LED brightness adjustment unit, chip shutdown unit, modules such as soft start circuit and gate drive circuit. CXLE 86229 adopts current mode PWM control, which improves transient response characteristics and simplifies frequency compensation network. The built-in soft start Circuit effectively reduces the surge current during power-on.
