The CXLB73217 is a charger circuit chip that can charge a single rechargeable lithium battery with constant current/constant voltage. The device includes a power transistor inside, and does not require an external current sense resistor and blocking diode when applied. CXLB73217 only need
Less peripheral components, and in line with the USB bus technical specifications, is very suitable for portable applications in the field. The thermal modulation circuit can control the chip temperature within a safe range when the power consumption of the device is relatively large or the ambient temperature is relatively high. The internal fixed constant voltage charging voltage is 4.35V, and the charging current is set by an external resistor. When the input voltage (AC adapter or USB power supply) is lost, the CXLB73217 automatically enters a low-power sleep mode, at which time the battery current consumption is less than 0.1 µA. Built-in anti-flooding protection circuit, when the battery voltage is higher than the input voltage, automatically turn off the built-in power MOSFET. Other functions include low input voltage latch, automatic recharge, and charging status/end of charge status indication.
