CXLB73214 is a 500mA programmable current linear charge management chip. The DFN2 * 2-8L series of the finished product can realize 3.65/4.2 different voltage output through FB and BAT short circuit; The charging current is set by an external resistor.
CXLB73214 built-in input discharge circuit is used to solve the safety impact of high voltage of solar cells on the chip itself when strong light. CXLB73214 external TEMP pin can monitor the battery surface temperature. When the surface temperature of the battery exceeds the set threshold, charging is prohibited. This function is blocked when TEMP is grounded. (This pin is available only when DFN2 * 2-8L is packaged)
When the input voltage (AC adapter or USB power supply) is powered down, CXLB73214 automatically enters the sleep mode with low power consumption, and the current consumption of the battery is less than 0.1 μA. Built-in anti-backflow protection circuit, when the battery voltage is higher than the input voltage, the built-in power MOSFETs are automatically turned off.
