CXLB73261 is a PFM step-down single cell lithium battery charging management integrated circuit that independently manages the charging of single cell lithium batteries. It has the advantages of small package size, fewer peripheral components, and simple use. CXLB73261 has trickle, constant current, and constant voltage charging modes that are very suitable for lithium battery charging management. In constant voltage charging mode, CXLB73261Modulate the battery voltage to 4.2V; in constant current charging mode, the constant current charging current is fixed at 2.7A. CXLB73261 includes an automatic charging current adjustment unit that can automatically adjust the charging current according to the output capability of the input power supply, making it very suitable for applications powered by solar panels. For deep discharge lithium batteries, when the battery voltage is between 1V and 2.45V (typical value), CXLB73261 performs trickle charging on the battery. During the constant voltage charging phase, the charging current gradually decreases, and when the charging current drops to 285mAh, the charging process ends. At the end of charging, if the battery voltage drops to 4.06V, a new charging cycle will automatically begin. When the input power fails or the input voltage is lower than the battery voltage, CXLB73261 automatically enters an extremely low-power sleep mode, and the battery current consumed at this time is less than 3 microamperes. Other functions include battery short circuit protection, JEITA compliant battery temperature monitoring, battery terminal overvoltage protection, chip over temperature protection, and charging status indication. CXLB73261 adopts an 8-pin heat dissipation enhanced SOP package(eSOP8)。
