Single 4.35V lithium battery switch mode charging management chip CXLB73229 charging status indicator and fully charged status indicator

CXLB73229 is a charging management chip that performs constant current/constant voltage charging on a single 4.35V lithium battery. Internally, it includes modules such as benchmark, bias, voltage comparator, and temperature detection. It adopts DC-DC control mode with a frequency of 1.5MHz, and the charging current is set by an external resistor, with a maximum of 2A. When the input voltage is below 4.35V, the chip enters SLEEP MODE working mode, and the power consumption will be reduced to below 60 μ A, while the charging will be turned off. The charging process of the chip consists of trickle current, constant current, constant voltage, and recharging processes, and there are two external LEDs that can display various charging statuses. Built in temperature protection and load short-circuit protection ensure high reliability of the IC. By adjusting the signal of the MODE port, the output current can be selected as the programming current or 0.6 times the programming current to adapt to different adapters and meet the BC1.2 standard. At the same time, based on the voltage of the VIN port, CXLB73229 also has the function of automatically identifying USB2.0 or USB3.0V! Adopting ESOP8 packaging form.
