The CXLB73226 is a complete single-cell Li-ion battery charger with positive and negative battery reverse connection protection and constant current/constant voltage linear control. An internal PMOSFET architecture is used, plus anti-refill circuitry, so no external isolation diodes are required. The charging voltage is fixed at 4.2V with an accuracy of 1%. The charging current can be set through an external resistor, the maximum charging can reach 1A, and the end charging current can be set through an external resistor. The current is automatically adjusted to limit the chip temperature during high power operation or high ambient temperature conditions. When the input voltage (AC adapter or USB power supply) is removed, the CXLB73226 automatically enters a low current state and the battery leakage drops below 1uA. When there is a power supply, it can also be placed in shutdown mode to reduce the supply current to 65uA. The CXLB73226 has EN enable, EN meets the necessary conditions for chip operation when it is connected to GND or floating, and turns off the charging function when EN is connected to VIN.
In shutdown state. Other features of the CXLB73226 include undervoltage lockout, automatic recharge, 2.5V trickle charge and two LED states to indicate charge and end.
