The CXLB7386 is an integrated USB power switch with boost converter to meet USB 5V
power requirements from a 2V to 5V input supply. The features include a USB compliant
power output, output switch enable, thermal shutdown and current limit.The USB power
switch is an integrated 200mΩ power switch with current limiting protection at 1.4A.
The boost converter output is an auxiliary 3V to 5.5V output to power additional loads.
Its Load current can program by an external resistor from as low as 130mA to as high as
2000mA. It can operate in stable waveforms without external compensation.

The CXLB7386 is a complete constant-current/constant-NZ5嘉泰姆

voltage linear charger for single cell lithium-ion batteries.NZ5嘉泰姆

Its ThinSOT package and low external component countNZ5嘉泰姆

make the CXLB7386 ideally suited for portable applications.NZ5嘉泰姆

Furthermore, the CXLB7386 is specifically designed toNZ5嘉泰姆

work within USB power specifications.NZ5嘉泰姆

No external sense resistor is needed, and no blockingNZ5嘉泰姆

diode is required due to the internal MOSFET architecture.NZ5嘉泰姆

Thermal feedback regulates the charge current to limit theNZ5嘉泰姆

die temperature during high power operation or highNZ5嘉泰姆

ambient temperature. The charge voltage is fixed at 4.2V,NZ5嘉泰姆

and the charge current can be programmed externally withNZ5嘉泰姆

a single resistor. The CXLB7386 automatically terminatesNZ5嘉泰姆

the charge cycle when the charge current drops to 1/10thNZ5嘉泰姆

the programmed value after the final float voltage isNZ5嘉泰姆

reached.NZ5嘉泰姆

When the input supply (wall adapter or USB supply) isNZ5嘉泰姆

removed, the CXLB7386 automatically enters a low currentNZ5嘉泰姆

state, dropping the battery drain current to less than 2μA.NZ5嘉泰姆

The CXLB7386 can be put into shutdown mode, reducingNZ5嘉泰姆

the supply current to 25μA.NZ5嘉泰姆

Other features include charge current monitor,NZ5嘉泰姆

undervoltage lockout, automatic recharge and a status pinNZ5嘉泰姆

to indicate charge termination and the presence of an inputNZ5嘉泰姆
